Launching with a bang!
Any new venture (even virtual ones) deserve to be launched and celebrated! It’s like a marriage with your dream career path. In March last year I didn’t even know what I wanted to do with my life! I was clueless and called myself a ‘Confusedpreneur’. Yeah I know.. I made that word up ;) In just three months after that I got a scholarship and left for a 28 days residential Yoga Teacher Training course in India, which turned out to be the most life changing experience of my life. I had heard clarity comes with engagement, I was now truly engaged with my mind, body and soul! Little did I know that I was going to find the purpose of my life there. Soon I was itching to explore what I had learnt in the Yoga school. After a few more rough months (and losing all my sanity again!) before I got clarity on my vision and found my mission in life. I slowly started to climb the ladder of entrepreneurship. Only after I had climbed one step the other became clear… The ladder exists for everyone it’s we who don’t see it.
It took me almost 9 months to get my head around my heart and put words on my services of combining my passion and mission through Yoga and Food. I was in my shell for eternity ( at least it felt that way) so one day when the landing page of my website came out. My 7 year old son started celebrating the fact that his mom is on ‘Google’ now and that’s when I realized that if he can celebrate, laugh and enjoy such a little milestone then why not slightly bigger milestones? So, the blood, sweat, and tears that I had taken to decide and follow my heart through, needed their dues. Success, happiness, and true joy lies in the journey you have taken and the small milestones you achieve along the way. If these moments are not enjoyed then the fun of following your dreams is taken away by stress, and anxiety!
Hence, the feeling to celebrate started by wanting to celebrate the efforts we as a family had put into building this brand! I reached out to a close friend and fellow entrepreneur Ellen Ferretti Eppie to see if I could host my event at her store and she said YES! It was a truly authentic collaboration we both mutually wanted help each other grow. Soon the CEO and founder of B.I.G Tara Gilvar joined forces to celebrate the launch of my business. She got in two brothers from Keller Williams realtors who shared the same message of giving homes to families that enables them to nurture and grow. This little desire and dream turned into a huge affair! Once again it reminded me of how great things happen, when you follow your heart in all honesty and in the best interests, not just for yourself but for everyone around you!
Yes, we all can live the life of our best dreams and desires!
A 7 year old reminded me to enjoy and celebrate every little success. I wish that as our kids grow older to be adults, they do not lose their zeal, enthusiasm, and innocence.
